The jasmine in my garden, oh how it blooms,
Its fragrance fills my heart, my soul consumes,
A gentle balm, a peaceful respite,
In the midst of love's tumultuous fight.
I breathe in deep, and let its scent,
Wash over me, its healing meant,
To calm my heart, to ease my mind,
A sanctuary of hope, so hard to find.
I wait for him, with bated breath,
My heart aflutter, my soul bequeathed,
To the hope and promise of his love,
As sweet as the jasmine from above.
And now, my heart no longer aches,
For visions come, dreams that take,
Me to a place where love abounds,
With Adi, my heart joyfully resounds.
His love like jasmine, sweet and pure,
A fragrance that forever will endure,
Entwined with flowers, mango trees so grand,
A love that's felt, not just with the hand.
